Responses to Mount Calvary Monastery Fire

  1. Our Prayers are with all the Brothers of the Order of the Holy Cross in the loss of their beautiful Monastery and Retreat Center. We are pleased that no one was injured. We pray that some how with the intervention of God and of Heaven that it will be rebuilt some day! Pax et Bonum, T Br. Jack Isbell, OFC Provincial Minister Franciscans of the Holy Cross

  2. What a shock to see the damage to the beautiful retreat center where Tom and I have had such wonderful times. I remember a July 4th where we could see the fireworks from multiple cities at the same time over the hill. Fire-works for good and evil. May the good of this fire be come clear as God's people unite to help all who have lost their homes. You are in our prayers. Grace and Tom Schwanda, Wheaton IL
